What payment methods do you accept?
Original Fish accepts credit and debit cards from Visa and Mastercard as well as Twint as payment methods.
Is it safe to use my credit card on your website?
Original Fish uses the payment solutions by Saferpay from Worldline, one of the leading payment provider. Its safety standards are state of the art.
Account & Registration
Do I need to create an account to place an order?
No, you can also order as a guest. Howevery, we recommend to create an account as it makes recurring orders and future shopping more convenient for you.
Product Information
Will my fish stay fresh when I order it online?
Yes! After you place your order with Original Fish, your fish is sourced from fishermen who land their catch fresh. Then, the fish is sent to Original Fish via the fastest route, where we once again inspect its quality. Following this, it is packed in cooled, insulated, and recyclable shipping materials and sent via Moon Express by Swiss Post. This ensures that only freshly caught products reach you directly, rather than the usual oldest stock.
Is your fish fresh or frozen?
We offer both fresh and frozen fish. Any frozen fish would always be labelled as “Flash Frozen” and mentioned in the description. Our products are frozen using shock freezing technology, which helps maintain the quality of fresh fish.
Is your fish sustainably sourced?
Yes! Original Fish exclusively sources fish and seafood from healthy, regenerative stocks that have been caught using environmentally friendly fishing methods. For farmed fish, we ensure environmentally friendly and animal-friendly production practices. See “About Us” for more information.
Shipping & Delivery
What are you shipping rates and delivery times?
We deliver twice a week, on Thursdays and Saturdays. You place your order no later than 3 days before the delivery date and receive freshly caught fish, which is sourced directly for you. Learn more about how it works: https://original-fish.ch/how-it-works/
The delivery costs amount to CHF 18. From an order value of CHF 200, we ship free of charge.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
Yes, a minimum order amount of CHF 80 is required in order to be able to cover the costs of the costly refrigerated dispatch service.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver all over Switzerland.
How can I track my order?
As soon as your parcel has been posted with Swiss Post, you will receive an e-mail with the tracking information.
Can I pick up my online order at the Original Fish Concept Store?
As soon as our Concept Store in Küsnacht is open, yes. Select “Collection” as the delivery method during the order process to collect the goods from our Concept Store in Küsnacht.
