Ingredients: Black Cod (FISH, FAO67), miso paste (water, SOYbeans 30%, rice, salt, ethanol 1%, koji-Aspergillus flavus, Alc: 2.1% Vol.)), Mirin (glutinous rice, distilled alcohol, sugar, Alc: 13.5-14.5% Vol.), sake, cane sugar
Store at least minus 18 degrees and consume within 2 days of thawing.
Preparation: Defrost and pat dry the 2 pieces Miso marinated black cod fillets, sear in an oiled pan over medium-high heat for 2–3 min per side, then transfer to the top oven rack on grill/broil mode for 3–5 min until the glaze caramelizes. Serve immediately.
